I attended the monthly meeting on Monday and the board addressed the crowd of drivers and owners. Chilton will be running this year and will host Grand National, Street Stock, Challenge (Hobbies), Legend and also 4 Cylinder Divisions on Friday nights. Would like to see who's all planning on running there full time and part time. I was told the schedule will be posted very soon.

I plan on running the 4 cylinder class full time this season. I had a great time running there part time last season. I like the fact that they rotate the order of events / classes and usually have a nice track to race on.

With all the talk of the economy some people might want to build a chilton challenger. I heard that they opened the rules up allow front wheel drives. That should be an affordable class to run.

Hey Jen, here is a money saving tip for the CCRA. Don't print up rule books this year just have them on the Website. Ok maybe print some for the techies at the track, but that would have to save some money.

Thanks again for all the suggestions!! Keep them coming. Just wanted to let everyone know that we do have a 3 year signed contract with the Fair Board. We are now working hard to get caught up with everything else!!! We signed this on Mon. Also on our website the schedule is posted. We will be adding "fun" things to it as soon as we can. Rules will be posted soon. There are no changes in the Grand Nationals and the 4 Cylinders. Challegers we are allowing front wheel drive. Street Stocks will have a change in the claim procedure. There may be a few minor changes that I am missing but will post them asap!!!
