96 Cavalier Anti-Theft

Anti-Theft kicked in car wont start. Lady had the car towed home and has
been sitting in garage for about a month.All they tried was unhooking battery
for a couple days,still nothing.They cant afford to have car towed to shop
and fixed as they are both laid off.Looking for hints or suggestions.

I think the procedure to reset that is to turn the key into the ON position until the light stops blinking.... I think it is like 15 minutes..... so you might want to just walk away for a bit. Then you turn it off and try to start it.

Not sure if it will work on your car but it is worth a shot.

If it starts let it run and idle for at least 15 mins. The Anti theft light should go out.
