Snow Being removed

February 10, 2009 - With temperatures in the upper 40's, the LaCrosse (WI) Fairgrounds Speedway officials got a head start on snow removal in anticipation of the 2009 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Season. The Season is scheduled to open on April 25th, featuring the Kwik Trip NASCAR Late Models, North Country Contractors Sportsmen and United Auto Supply Thunderstox.

Someone must have been bored. Season is 2 1/2 months away and they're worried about snow removal? LOL

It's called generating publicity (at a time when there is a lot of attention to motorsports - i.e. Daytona).

When your done, swing over to Manitowoc and clear the track off. Only a few feet of snow on the track, doubt it will be ready for the April practices.
