How much track work got done before the snow flew?

I was through that area before the snow was too heavy, looked to me that the clay was down, and they had a wall through turns 1 and 2, and down the back stretch, and the platform by turns 3 and 4 looked pretty much put together too. Its really starting to take shape, still looks odd to see a new look out there.

Hi Jeremy,

Yes, crews were able to lay all the clay down on the track
before the snow flew. That was the most important task at hand and luckily, we were able to accomplish that.

According to track prep chief Merle Lisowe, the clay they found was "virgin clay" in that it was dug up out of the ground and was not sitting in a pile somewhere.

It sounds like the banking is close to 12 degrees in turns 1 and 2 and considerably less in 3 and 4. In talking with many drivers at the bash @ CZ's in Denmark last night, there is quite a buzz in the local dirt racing community about Wisconsin's newest dirt track, 141 Speedway.

We will be having a booth @ Gregg Hermann's show @ Expo (I believe weekend of Jan. 16th?) and drivers can plan on a driver's meeting possibly final weekend in January to purchase pit stalls. First come, first serve and many guys last night were asking me about that.

An official news release will be coming out shortly. Bruce and Renee have had some bigger fish to fry as of late but rest assured it will be full steam ahead for 141 Speedway in 2010, Wisconsin's newest dirt track.......
